Bagmane Virgo
Virgo, one of eight office buildings in Bagmane Constellation Business Park, was designed to afford maximum flexibility and functionality, ensuring its responsiveness to the needs and demands of businesses for the long-term.
Strategically, the building is conceived as a singular block expressed as a series of interlocking volumes that are organised within a 10.8m X 10.8m structural grid and vertically connected through central cores. Each block is almost equally sized and offers a saleable efficiency of 80%. Through this centralised planning, the building envelope is maximised to allow for greater penetration of natural lighting into the office space and improved views from within. Double-glazed, high-performance curtain-wall systems with fritted and clear vision glazing panels help to reduce thermal heat gain; thereby, delivering better energy efficiency and a more comfortable work environment.

Virgo is the first office building to be completed in Bagmane Constellation Business Park. Its architectural massing and urban identity are derived from an understanding and thorough analysis of its topography and climate conditions. Though simple, its massing presents a built form that stands in dynamic contrast to the surrounding painted masonry buildings.
