A Luxurious Haven
Shangri-La Residences Yangon is a 55,000sqm development situated in a privileged location besides the tranquil Kandawgyi Lake, one of two major lakes in Yangon, Myanmar. It also faces Shwedagon Pagoda, one of the country’s most visited tourist destinations.
Details
The introduction of glass in the façade design imparts a visual lightness and a contemporary architectural expression. It also filters and directs natural light into the living spaces, at the same time establishing a link with the unique landscape.
Located besides the beautiful Kandawgyi Lake, the project was designed as a tranquil and luxurious haven true to its name.
This development comprises two 21-storey serviced apartment buildings that house 240 three-bedroom units. The buildings face north and capture the desirable views in the southeast. Common areas and hotel facilities are added at ground floor to encourage interaction among the residents. The spaces are intended for meeting and socialising, and connects to the surrounding environment.
The project is an addition and alteration of an existing condominium development that was built in the 1990s.
